Description

  

The days will be relatively short so we can utilise the available daylight by not spending too much time driving. This is a good opportunity to explore a bit closer to home and spend a winter night in a hut (we'll have to collect firewood!).

We'll  start at the Brook Sanctuary, climb up the sanctuary fence to third house, then around wooded peak to Coppermine saddle and up to Dun saddle to Rocks hut. We'll descend to the Maitai dam.

Registration

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
